At Huntwicke, we have a seasoned group of investment professionals with decades of investing experience. Below are some of the members of the Huntwicke team.

Brian Woodland, President

Brian Woodland has over 26 years of investment management experience. He specialized in managing portfolios for individuals and small institutions during his career. He worked closely with trading desks, research analysts, and buy side portfolio managers at different companies. Brian joined Cowen & Company in 1996, as a Vice President in the Private Client Group. In 2000, Brian joined Salomon Smith Barney as a Senior Vice President of Investments in Boston, MA. There, he was certified as a Financial Planning Specialist for the firm in 2003.  Brian is also President of Huntwicke Securities LLC, a member FINRA / SIPC .

Brian graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Finance. Brian lives in Boxford with his wife Antigoni and three daughters.

David Bunker, Vice-President

David E. Bunker is a Registered Investment Advisor who founded EFA in 1997. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts and a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University. Prior to founding Essex Financial Advisors, LLC, David was an Investment Advisor Representative with Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group in Wakefield, MA for three years.

David worked for 10 years at his family owned and operated business, Johnson Roses, of Woburn, Massachusetts. 

Fernando Garcia, Controller

Fernando Garcia has over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and financial services. He joined Huntwicke after working at Sentinel Benefits and Financial Group for the Investment operations group. Prior to Sentinel he worked for two agro industrial businesses located in Colombia and Panama. He graduated from Bentley University with a degree in Finance and recently completed his MBA at Hult International Business School.

Fernando currently lives in Topsfield, MA with his wife Jaclyn and two sons.

Rob Martin, President of Ipswich Ale Brewery

In 1994, Rob Martin was a volunteer brewer at Ipswich Ale Brewery. He asked for a job following six months of being paid in pizza and beer. In 1995, he became the brewery’s delivery driver for two years before returning to the production floor.

Rob became the director of operations and in 1999, he bought Ipswich Ale. He graduated with a BS in Architecture from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York.

This later came in handy when he helped design the brewery’s pub, the Brewer’s Table Restaurant.
